·                Established and managed the Intellectual Property Program which guided inventors on 7 patents and 18 patent applications, included management and licensing of intellectual property as an asset.

·                Successfully advocated for a $4 million consolidation project to improve customer service and position company for web delivery of statements and satisfaction of corporate reporting (later SOX).  Resulted in over $20 million annual savings by enabling customer self service and efficiency of service representatives.  Built team from 3 to 15 and rolled out system for 5,000+ users.  Outstanding Customer Service Award (2000) and Excellence in Service Awards.

·                Statement Print & Mail Facility systems upgrade completed 12% under budget.  $15 million program (hardware, software, services, physical plant) ramped up to team of 28 people (managers, staff, contractors) from 4 people.  Also designed innovative document tracking and delivery techniques

·                Improved internet e-mail infrastructure system throughput by 5 times.  Enabled marketing to send messages at bursts of 3,000 emails per minute.  System delivered in 4 months, from problem definition to production implementation.

·                Established metrics based MBO’s (Management by Objective) in 1998 that was used as model by human resources for enterprise program.  Lifesaver Award (1998).

Division of Fidelity Technology which partnered with a global telecommunications company to implement an automated workflow system including image processing, intelligent character recognition, fax servers and document routing.  Lead on 4-member start-up team.  Responsible for business operations management, financial controls, system delivery and quality assurance programs.

Senior Technical Advisor, Fidelity Systems Company

Reporting to the CTO, responsible for all aspects of the Open Print Server, from invention to product launch.   This invention enables any-to-any printing (any computer-to-any printer) which later became the core product of a Fidelity Capital Company: OPServer, Inc. Responsible for leading implementation of first IP bridges in data center, venture funding request, system design, formation of technical teams and industry business partnerships, development contracts, intellectual property ownership and product management.  Product naming, pricing strategy, identity campaign, public relations and first trade show.  Responsible for writing and managing patent filings.

Responsible for Research & Development in document technology, imaging, workflow and print space.  Worked with all lines of business to identify opportunities and develop prototypes of leading edge technical solutions.  Projects included document management, image processing and management, electronic faxing, check and remittance processing, workflow and high-volume printing.
